Sophie (Soapy) Brubaker is a bubbly performer, emcee, and producer currently based in New York City (originally from the wild wild west aka Northern California suburbia). She slips and slides between immersive theatre & experiences, pop-up brand activations, film & TV screenings, food & beverage events, non-profit programming, concerts, and more.

Sophie is a cheerleader for social storytelling, for artists and audiences. She founded ColLab, an interdisciplinary and immersive producing program at Off The Lane, a non-profit theatre in NYC; she is also co-founder of the unlikely theatre company, In Confidence, which produces live performance experiences in unexpected places.

Sophie is currently performing Off-Broadway in Speakeasy, Die Softly at Carmine’s in Times Square; she is also performing in traveling immersive murder mystery shows with The Murder Mystery Company of New York.
